Don’t You Lie To Me
But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus"(Ephesians 4:20-21)
Thought For Today
Imagine a world where honesty is the norm. My mother always told me that she knew when I was lying. She said she, I know everything, I even have eyes in the back of my head. So I put her to the test and stood behind her and asked how many fingers am I holding up? She said, two. Well she was right I was hold two fingers up. So, I learn a valuable lesson that day and I quit trying to fool my mom. Unfortunately, people often struggle with being truthful. A telltale sign is the inability to maintain eye contact when they are being dishonest. This lack of truthfulness extends to politics and even within certain religious communities. It's disheartening to see individuals embodying the traits of deceit. As Paul emphasized, staying true to the teachings of Christ means embracing the honesty found in Him. John also urged believers to walk in His ways. In Jesus, there is no deception, and honesty should always prevail.
