Have you ever considered what it's going to take for you to get into heaven? Of course, we all know that heaven is freely given to all people that make Jesus their Lord and Savior. But, I find many scriptures that instruct us on what it takes to get to heaven and these scriptures should leave no doubt in any of our minds. For example: Jesus told Nicodemus, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God" (John 3:3-5). The writer of the book of Hebrews told us, "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14). And David asked the LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill? The reason you should be happy is because you still have time to get it right so that you don't miss the mark. If you decided to go to a concert, a guided tour, or special event then you know what it’s like to purchase a ticket that reserves your designated seat. Obeying scripture is the process of purchasing your heavenly ticket. Just as your not allowed to enter a special event without a ticket you will not be allowed to enter into heaven without following the scripture. Remember the Bible stands for Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. Get your ticket ASAP.
