Heavenly Minded

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:1-2).
Thought For Today

The Bible seems to call upon us to continue to renew our mind. How we think will determine our successes and failures in life.
The Apostle Paul said that we must be transformed by renewing our minds. When we realize who we are in Christ, our thinking is renewed. We must be heavenly minded, and soul conscious. Even when we are faced with difficult circumstances and situations, it's how we see them with our renewed spiritual mind that will determine if we will come through them victorious or defeated. Joshua and Caleb saw the same thing as the other ten spies while searching out the Promised Land. The only difference was Joshua and Caleb saw what God promised them instead of who was there. Paul said, "If you be risen with Christ, then seek those things which are above." We must renew our minds and see every trial as a stepping stone that will propell us toward our goal.
