Help Is On The Way

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. (Psalms 121:1-8)

Many scriptures show us that God is our protector and our defense. Like an umbrella in the rain, He covers us and protects us from the storm. But we will have to trust Him if we want to have an understanding of His protection and defense. Faith and trust in God is normally beyond our human reach. The reason why many people struggle with placing their faith in God is because they can't see God. And that is exactly where faith comes in. We walk by faith and not by sight. You can't see every place that God is. You can only see where He is based on your vision and surroundings. But your faith should cause you to believe that He's everywhere and that He will come to your defense every time you need Him.
