Just A Little Help

"Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils" (Mark 16:9)

Thought For Today:

Do you ever feel that no one cares about what you are going through or what you are facing? Does it seem that because everyone has their own agenda that no one seems to be concerned about you? I see many that just want someone to talk to, but everyone seems to be in a hurry with no time to listen. I try to approach people I see this way so they know that there is at least one person who does cares about them. Not only do I care, but I want them to know that Jesus cares too. We have to learn how to allow Jesus to work through us so that people do know that we care about them. The Bible says that Jesus cast out seven devils from Mary Magdalene. We can see why her heart was so torn when Jesus was crucified. Having been tormented for probably years, she was now made free. She finally felt what true love was like. She now understood that there was someone who cared. In the same way that Jesus showed us how to care, we must follow that example and care for others. Jude tells us, "And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh"(Jude 1:22-23). How can we show others we care? First of all, listen to what others are saying to you. Share and offer to help someone today. Let others go ahead of you. Remember, you always reap what you sow.
