Missing Something?
Proverbs 9:9
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
Thought For Today:
Do you read the instructions after opening that new item? I have noticed that reading the instructions before putting something together is so much easier. The instructions are placed in the box for a reason. The manufacturer wants your purchase to look good and work properly because it represents their company. If you don't follow the instructions, you usually label the item as junk. Paul told Timothy, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
The Word shows us how to put our lives together correctly. Do you ever feel that your life is a mess? It might be helpful to go back and review the instructions. You may have missed something important. Usually, it's Jesus. The Bible is the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth, you know. You might want to reread it.
