I like teaching Bible studies, and I believe that every born-again believer should be excited about teaching them as well. Bible studies share with others what God has done in times past for others and how it relates to us today. Every father and mother should teach Bible studies to their children at the earliest stage of their lives so they can learn to determine truth from error when it comes to religion. Granted, there will be times that they will have to make tough choices, but once they know the truth, it will make it so much easier for them in that decision-making process. The psalmist said, "We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old." Their fathers told them what God had done. Paul admonished fathers, "And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4). The entire book of Deuteronomy is a book of remembrance. Moses wanted the children of Israel to remember what God had done for them and to ensure that they relayed it to their children and the generations to come. Isn't it great knowing that you know the God of creation? His name is Jesus.
