Recently my wife and I visited the infamous Alcatraz Prison, located in San Francisco, California. The Alcatraz Federal Prison closed in 1963 and is now a worldwide tourist attraction.

This would become the most essential book in their life outside of the Bible. Joshua said This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have success. (Joshua 1:8).

God has already made it simple to succeed in this life. He just simply said that if we do what His word says, we'll have success. How much simpler can you get? The Word of God has an answer for every scenario imaginable. From how to conduct yourself at home, work, and in society, to how to plan for the future. You name it, God’s Word has the answer. Remember this, humans will never be able to find flaws in God’s Standard Operating Procedures, also known as the BIBLE.

On June 11, 1962, inmates Clarence Anglin, John Anglin, and Frank Morris escaped from Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary. The three men tucked papier-mâché heads resembling their likenesses into their beds, broke out of the main prison building via ventilation ducts and an unused utility corridor, and departed the island aboard an improvised inflatable raft to an uncertain fate. A fourth conspirator, Allen West, failed in his escape attempt and remained on the island.

In 1979 the FBI officially concluded, on the basis of circumstantial evidence and a preponderance of expert opinion, that the men drowned in the frigid waters of San Francisco Bay without reaching the mainland.

There’s a drastic difference between the Alcatraz S.O.P. manual and the Bible. The Bible has a detailed escape plan that works. Millions of souls have followed the Biblical instructions and successfully made it to the other side, and one day you and I will make it too.
