Unwelcomed Guest

Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox (Proverbs 14:4).

Thought For Today:
There was a Russian farmer that had several cows. As he began to put his cattle in the barn to protect them from the harsh cold winter, he noticed that they would not all fit. And so he decided to place the remaining cows in his living room, much to his wife's dismay. She said, "You are not putting those cows in my living room." He assured her that it was only for the night and that he would get them out first thing in the morning when the weather warmed up. He rationalized with her that if they didn't put them in there, they would die from the harsh weather. So the wife agreed for the night. But the winter weather got worse and eventualy the cows were allowed to stay in the living room through the entire winter. After a while, the stench became normal to the couple and it wasn’t as bad as the first night.

If we are not careful, we can allow sin into our lives and what was once zero tolerence is now normal. When you put Satan out of your home and life, make sure you have him take his bags and anything else he brought in with him. Because if you let it stay, he'll be back with an excuse of why you should let him back in. Solomon said, "Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox." Keep the cows out of your living room.
