Waiting For Him

"The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him"
(Lamentations 3:24-25). 

Thought For Today: 

As I read the Bible, I often wonder about the long periods of waiting and captivity endured by the people mentioned. Even in difficult times, having faith and patience is crucial. Waiting can be tough, but with a relationship with the Lord, it becomes bearable. David's words in Psalms 27:13-14 remind us of the importance of waiting and having courage. Waiting teaches us patience, which is a valuable lesson.
