Maintain The Change

"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" (Matthew 5:48)

Thought For Today:

If Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), that means He's 100% all the time. And when we see Him, He will be the same because He does not change. Jesus is Perfect.

When God fills us with the Holy Ghost, His perfection enters into us, and we are complete because there is nothing greater than He. So now it's up to us to maintain the change until we stand before Him. As Paul told the church in Colossians, "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power" (Colossians 2:8-10).
Are you maintaining the change that God started within you? Remember what Jesus said to his disciples: Some things in our lives will only survive because of prayer and fasting. When you find it hard to maintain the change, it is time for some prayer and fasting.
