"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God"(John 3:16-21).

Thought For Today:
Have you ever seen a house that has been condemned? The building inspectors have rendered the home no longer safe for anyone to live in unless significant repairs are done. Jesus told Nicodemus that God did not send Him into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved. Many in this world are condemning themselves for not obeying God's word. But Jesus has come to show us how to fix things before they are so badly out of shape that they feel they cannot ever be repaired again. Does it feel like your home is crumbling around you? Does it seem that nothing works anymore? Jesus said that if we do not believe in Him we will become condemned. Why not take Jesus' advice and come to the light so you can see your errors and your house may become a home once again?

"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are" (1 Corinthians 3:16-17).
