Strong Faith

"For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith" (Romans 12:3)

Thought For Today:

How much faith do you have? Is it the same amount that Jesus gave you or have you received more? Jesus gives us a measure or portion of His faith to see how we use it. In Numbers 27, the Lord instructed Moses to impart some of his honor upon Joshua. Similarly, God grants us a measure of faith to see how we use it. As Peter exhorts us in 2 Peter 1:5, we must add to our faith, for faith without works is dead (James 2). Moreover, we need faith to please God (Hebrews 11:6). When we incorporate spiritual principles into our faith, it will grow and we will have more than what we started with. This way, we won't be unproductive or lack knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When you have strong faith, you become steadfast and immovable. Jesus once said that even a small amount of faith can move mountains, but it is much easier when your faith is strong.
