Super Strong
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
(Ephesians 6:10)
Thought For Today:
Have you ever observed that most young boys enjoy pretending to be superheroes like Superman, Batman, Spiderman, or the Hulk? These fictional characters inspire a desire in them to be strong and powerful. However, it's unfortunate that as they grow into teenagers, many of them lose this desire. True strength and power are demonstrated through a person's character. When a man adheres to moral principles and follows a moral compass, nothing can defeat him.
In his message to the church at Ephesus, the apostle Paul encouraged them to remain steadfast in their faith. He emphasized the importance of being strong in the Lord and relying on His power. Paul recognized that there would be challenges ahead, but urged the believers to stand firm in their relationship with Christ. They could become unshakable by grounding themselves in His teachings and living according to His Spirit. Paul's parting words served as a reminder that with a solid foundation in Christ, they could overcome any obstacle.
