Walking Together
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
(Amos 3:3)
Thought For Today:
Most people can agree that when they see two people holding hands while walking down the street, they usually agree at that moment. Whether they are a married couple or dating, they are generally on the same page. The same can be said for people walking together - they often share some level of agreement. The psalmist expresses in Psalms 133:1 that it is good and pleasant when brothers dwell in unity. Maintaining unity requires each individual to do their part in keeping the peace. Jesus Christ demonstrated and taught us how to achieve harmony and peace with one another during his time on earth. He instructed us to communicate honestly and not seek revenge or retaliation. Instead, he encouraged us to love even our enemies, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who mistreat us. By following these teachings, we can become children of God and maintain unity and peace as our Father in Heaven does. It is essential to follow the Master's instructions to preserve unity and peace.
